We're collecting short video messages from Tennesseans who care about every child's right to an education — no matter where they’re from. Your voice can help put pressure on lawmakers to do the right thing.

Here’s a sample script to get you started — personalize it to make it your own:

“I’m [YOUR NAME] from [CITY]. Rep. [LEGISLATOR NAME], I’m asking you to commit to voting NO on HB793, because every child should have an education — no matter where they were born or how they got here.

❤️ Make it personal to make it stronger:

  • How long you’ve lived in your community, and why you care about it.

  • Your own public school experience — friendships, favorite teachers, what school meant to you.

  • Why strong public schools make strong communities.

  • A teacher who made a difference in your life — or how you’ve seen teachers help kids grow.

  • Why *every* kid deserves the chance to learn and succeed, not just a few.

Example: “Public school gave me more than just an education — it gave me confidence, life skills, and friends who shaped who I am. Teachers helped me dream big and see the world beyond my neighborhood. Every child deserves that chance, no matter their background.”

🎯 End strong:

When every child can reach their full potential, Tennessee is stronger. Rep. [XYZ], can I count on you to vote against HB793 and stand up for all kids in our public schools?”
